  • Spring training starts in early February, while Autumn training starts in September. Both programmes are spread over several weekends, consisting of teaching weekends and a final weekend of exams and evaluations.

You should plan for 4-6 hours a week of coursework, watching supporting videos and required reading.

You’ll also be required to practice Yoga regularly throughout the programme.

  • Training times are;

In-studio sessions start at 13:00 to 18:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.

You are required to attend at least 80% of the sessions to ensure that you pass the requirements to receive your certificate.

  • Our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training programme aims to cater to dedicated students interested in either teaching Yoga or deepening their practice. We offer this course over weekends to accommodate people with busy schedules and family commitments.

Our syllabus instils a robust understanding of anatomy, alignment, philosophy and adjustments.

This solid foundation enables you to guide your students through a transformative Yoga practice that enlightens, invigorates, and heals.

A strong thread of our training is your personal development with dedicated meditation and breathwork sessions.

As you progress through the course, your unique teaching voice will emerge, bolstering your confidence as a registered Yoga instructor.

  • We ask that you have at least a year of regular practice, two to three times a week, and a good knowledge of the English language.

  • While many 200-hour Yoga teacher training programmes are available, we focus on teaching from first principles, helping you lay the foundation for lifelong learning as a Yoga teacher or dedicated Yoga student.

Our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training programme merges scientific insights with time-honoured Yoga traditions.

This approach ensures a well-rounded understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and physiology alongside classical asanas and psychology.

Many programmes give you knowledge but fail to provide the framework to learn and apply Yoga and philosophy to your life. We give you the skills to teach a class of students and help you develop your skills as a human being to lead a fulfilling life.

With consistent programme content and an established curriculum. Our programme has stood the test of time and continues to develop and evolve to incorporate modern thinking.

  • The invisible thread of personal development weaves through every aspect of our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program, enriching not just your physical practice but your inner life.

This thread is spun from integrated activities designed to enhance self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and holistic well-being.

    Meditation Program

At the core of our YTT is a structured meditation program. Here, you will not only learn various meditation techniques but also explore the philosophy and psychology behind them.

The aim is to equip you with the tools to navigate the mental and emotional landscapes that Yoga invariably brings to the surface. Beyond merely teaching these practices, we guide you in integrating them into daily life.

The goal is a sustainable, personal meditation practice that remains with you long after the program ends, enriching your teaching and personal life.

    Journaling Exercises

Journaling exercises are interspersed throughout the course to facilitate internal dialogue and self-reflection.

These exercises offer you a private space to confront, analyze, and integrate what you're learning and experiencing.

They serve as a record of your journey and a tool for ongoing self-inquiry.

Questions and prompts will guide your writing, encouraging you to delve deeper into your aspirations, fears, and evolving insights about Yoga and life.

    Conclusion

The invisible thread of personal development in our 200-hour YTT is nurturing the 'whole' you.

It is about recognizing that a competent Yoga teacher is proficient in asana, anatomy, and emotional and spiritual well-being.

Engaging in meditation, neurodynamic breathwork, and journaling provides a structured yet flexible framework for discovering and shaping one's growth path.

Through this, we aim for you to emerge from our program as a Yoga teacher and a more self-aware, emotionally balanced, and spiritually grounded individual.

"My confidence during the training went from low to high" -Caroline

This is how my emotions varied since April: 1st Scared before the start. Doubting of myself, non-confident. Then so excited and happy to have dared to take this journey Now so gorgeous about this experience, I even thank myself for having subscribed. It would have been such a shame to miss this. I also feel a bit sad it’s over because I really loved my weekend during the training.

My confidence during the training went from low to high thanks to Marc’s philosophy and approach. I thought at first that I was not good enough at Yoga but actually there is no good or bad.

I was positively surprised about the teaching philosophy which is inclusive to all levels, with compassion and acceptance of limits.

I am happy that I chose this training at the Brussels Yoga Loft because it was exactly corresponding to my teaching style and philosophy.

A big Thank you to the Yoga Loft team for this great adventure!

“I personally grew so much in those past two months." - Carina

I would absolutely recommend this training. I personally grew so much in those past two months.

Mentally as well as personally. I never thought about teaching a group – I did this training more for myself and my yogic growth.

But looking into the faces of the group after teaching is priceless and I really enjoyed it.

It was also a great experience to meet like-minded people to share experiences and get new inspirations.
